Caledonia is a French colony in the South Pacific, currently debating independence
from France, a notion particularly voiced from the native Kanaky population.
Being a French colony, it uses "La Marseillaise" as its official
anthem, however upon independence (if it is granted) a new anthem would be
selected; the native Kanaky population do have a "revolutionary song",
which, uses the melody of "God Save the Queen", but it is not known
if it would be used if independence is granted.
