Rosellas are Australian parrots. There are six species of rosella as well as a number of sub-species.
They dwell in forests, rural areas, and city parks. They are found mainly along the coast and in the Great Dividing Range.
Males and females look the same or similar. Their diet consists mainly of seeds and fruit. Due to their colourful plumage, rosellas are popular pets.
