About Q1 Gold Coast
Q1 (stands for "Queensland Number One". It is a tall skyscraper located in Surfers Paradise. It was briefly the world's tallest residential tower but was overtaken by 23 Marina in Dubai.
Q1 is the tallest building in Australia even though Melbourne's Eureka Tower has a higher roof but a lower spire. It is also the second tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere, the Sky Tower in Auckland, New Zealand is the tallest.
The building has an observation deck called QDeck on floors 77 and 78. It offers a 360 degree views of Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Byron Bay, as well as rural hinterland and the Pacific Ocean.
