Perth is the capital city of Western Australia. It is the biggest city in the biggest state. The city ranks fourth in size in Australia and is the second fastest growing city. Its port, Fremantle, is an older city that has now been inundated by Perth's outward growth. The CBD and many suburbs of Perth are located on the banks of the scenic Swan River. Perth often makes the world'stop 10 list for most livable cities.
