About Bells Beach
Bells Beach is a world famous surf beach, 100 km from Melbourne, and located near the town of Torquay on the renown Great Ocean Road. The beach is cliff-flanked but has sand on the beach itself. It is home to the prestigious Rip Curl Pro Surf competition. Outside of professional competitions, the surf breaks are still more suited for experienced surfers and swimmers.
The beach featured in the movie 'Point Break', although the beach that actually featured in the movie was Indian Beach in Oregon, USA.
