About Davies Creek National Park

Davies Creek National Park is located 10 minutes by road from Mareeba near Kuranda. The park is ideal for bushwalking or a relaxing swim in the many water holes between rapids that flow from the Kuranda Range. The environment also features the magnificent Davies Creek Falls at 75 metres high. Other features include, granite outcrops, eucalypt forest, and Aboriginal rock art.

The park entrance is 21 km after passing Kuranda and a further 7 km on an unsealed road. For this reason, it is possible to visit this park and be the only person there. Picnic tables and fireplace facilities are available for visitors and camping is permitted.
