Typical landscape and vegetation in Springbrook National Park. The visible water is part of Little Nerang Dam, a secondary source of water supply to Gold Coast City. Its catchment includes the Springbrook Plateau. It then flows by gravity pipeline to the Mudgeeraba Water Treatment Plant. The plant, has the capacity to treat 110 million litres a day. The water then flows by gravity to the city's storage reservoirs.
