Mt Conner is an isolated rock hill that rises abruptly from the surrounding plain. It is part of the same vast rocky stratum thought to connect Uluru and Kata Tjuta. A trip from Alice Springs to Uluru passes Mt Conner and for this reason it is often confused with Uluru, when it first comes into view.
