MacKenzie Falls is located Grampians National Park near Halls Gap. It is one of Victoria's biggest waterfalls and flows all year round, but is best seen between June and October. An area popular for swimming at the bottom of the falls resulted in a number of drownings due to its deceptive depth and now swimming is not allowed.
The waterfall is on the Mackenzie River which is fed by Lake Wartook. There is a smaller waterfall several hundred metres upstream called Broken Falls.
