Gladstone Road is the principle street in Gisborne. It is a long street that is home to most of the shops in the downtown area. Entrance to Gisborne's CBD is on Main Road which continues into Gladstone Road. The road flows into Wainui Road from a bridge that crosses the Taraheru River.
