The Blue Baths is a 1930's art deco heritage building contained within Rotorua's Government Gardens. The building contains geothermally heated pools which are available to the public and were used by returning WWII servicemen in the mid to late 1940s. Besides the pools, the building is also used today for public shows as well as private weddings, conferences, and corporate events. The Blue Baths has the honour of being the first to offer mixed (male/female) bathing in New Zeland.
