Massey Memorial at Point Halswell commemorates William Ferguson Massey who was Prime Minister of New Zealand from 1912-1925.
There are good views of Wellington and Days Bay as you walk around the memorial. If you climb up the hill in front to the memorial, you will find some old gun placements that offer even better views of Wellington Harbour.
