View of Cathedral Cove in the Coromandel. This beach featured in the movie trilogy, 'The Chronicles Of Narnia'.
Accessible only by foot or boat, Cathedral Cove is one of the iconic site of the Coromandel. Access by foot is via a 1.5 hour return walk from the carpark. It also provides access to beautiful Gemstone Bay and Stingray Bay.
There is also a walking track from the carpark to Hahei Beach which takes about 20 minutes to complete. Or 10 minutes away by car is the famous 'Hot Water Beach' where thermal heat allows bathers to dig a hole in the sand and create their own natural spa pool.
