Te Mata Peak offers stunning panoramic views of the fertile Hawke’s Bay region. Rising nearly 400 metres above sea level, a drive or walk up to the top will give you 360 degree views of nearby mountain ranges, Cape Kidnappers, and the Pacific Ocean. On a clear day, you can see as far south as Mt Ruapehu. There are also a number of walks that offer differing views.
