Mangawhero Falls is a 28 metres high waterfall near the town of Ohakune. A short drive out of the town takes you to Mountain Road which takes you up the slopes of Ruapehu volcano. Near the top of the road are views of snowy peaks, but if you are not too distracted, you will see a signpost pointing the way to the falls.
