In view is Tourism Rotorua on Fenton Street. Try navigating down Fenton Street for nearly 4 km until you see steam rising out of the ground. This steam is coming from Whakarewarewa, a thermal reserve which is the location of Pohutu geyser, bubbling hot mud pools, hot springs, and a small Maori village. Other volcanic attractions further afield but still in the Rotorua district include: Hells Gate, Waiotapu, Waimangu, and Mt Tarawera. If you get lost, use the map above to help you.
